HMC Leads the way in Halal Monitoring by Investing in Staff Training

HMC has trained over 100 of its inspectors and monitors in L2 Food Safety. This intensive course allows the trainee to expand their food safety and hygiene skills in support of the Halal inspection work. Food Safety training is widely recognised within the industry as an effective measure to train staff in the area of customer protection. The course meets industry regulations for the handling of food in manufacturing based-settings, where machinery and tools are used. Read more...

UK Government Halal Consultation: Halal Under Threat?

Last week, DEFRA finally launched its consultation paper covering the re-drafting of current legislation that provides protection for Halal and Kosher religious needs.
